Our Programs

Vocational Skills Training & CSR

Hair Dressing & Beauty

This program equips women and young people with professional hairdressing and beauty therapy skills, including hair styling, braiding, treatment, skincare, and grooming.

Graduates are empowered to work in salons or start their own beauty businesses, creating sustainable income opportunities.

Tailoring & Dressmaking

Hopewell provides practical training in tailoring, pattern making, and garment construction. Trainees learn how to design and sew clothes, school uniforms, and household items.

This skill enables women to earn an income from custom tailoring services or by producing goods for local markets.

Baking & Pastry

Through hands-on training in baking and pastry-making, participants learn to prepare cakes, bread, pastries, and other baked goods.

The program encourages entrepreneurship and opens doors for employment in bakeries, catering, or home-based businesses.

Child Education Support

Hopewell supports children of women enrolled in vocational training by assisting with school fees, providing school uniforms, books, and other essential supplies—ensuring they stay in school and thrive academically.

Support for Younger Children

To accommodate mothers attending training, Hopewell offers a safe space for their young children. The organization provides toys, learning and play materials, and mattresses, giving the children comfort while their mothers learn.

School Uniforms for Disadvantaged Children

As part of its commitment to the broader community, Hopewell makes and donates school uniforms to disadvantaged children at Gachororo Primary School. This not only meets a vital need for the children but also gives tailoring trainees practical experience and a sense of purpose.
